Job Description
An MBA intern at an online school division of an EdTech company whose primary focus is on supporting the sales team by generating leads, qualifying potential clients, contacting parents, presenting the teaching methodology of the school, and following up on sales leads to contribute to achieving targets, while gaining hands-on experience in the EdTech sales cycle and market dynamics.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead generation: Researching and identifying potential clients through various channels like online directories, social media, email marketing, and other media campaigns.
2. Contact outreach: Reaching out to potential clients through phone calls, emails, and personalized messages to schedule online interactions or product demonstrations.
3. Product presentations: Delivering informative presentations showcasing the features and benefits of the EdTech platform to potential clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
4. CRM management: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and lead information within the company’s CRM system.
5. Sales cycle support: Assisting the sales team with follow-up activities, including sending proposal documents, addressing client questions, and negotiating contracts.
6. Market research: Analyzing industry trends, competitor landscape, and educational market dynamics to identify potential sales opportunities.
7. Data analysis: Tracking sales metrics and providing insights to help optimize sales strategies.
