Join us at Vandrevala Foundation as a Mental Health Helpline Free Intern and make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to provide support and guidance to individuals in need, while gaining valuable experience in the field of mental health.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Answering calls on the mental health helpline and providing empathetic and non-judgmental support to callers.
2. Conducting assessments to determine the level of risk and appropriate intervention for each caller.
3. Refer callers to mental health professionals and resources as needed.
4. Documenting calls and maintaining confidentiality by ethical guidelines.
5. Participating in training sessions to enhance crisis intervention and mental health support skills.
6. Collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure the best possible care for callers.
7. Participating in Group therapy sessions, Pro Bono, and paid therapy sessions.
8. Enhancing your knowledge by reading through a massive knowledge base and increasing your proficiency level through self-learning modules
